EYEBROW CARE
How to take best care of brows at home?
We rarely realize the dangers our eyebrows face up to. Even make-up products often include some potentially harmful substances, may clump and overload the delicate hairs day by day.
Some other external factors, not necessarily connected with make-up, also have a harmful effect on brows. For example, they are weaker due to solar radiation, as a result of aging, because of air pollution or unfavorable weather conditions (humidity, freezing cold).
What’s interesting, stress turns out to be the most common cause of brow loss. Still, they are also distressed due to wrong-performed shaping sessions, disturbing their growth.
- Choose the right make-up products. Pay attention to the ingredients. Products like pencils, waxes and pomades stay on your brows throughout the day so it would be great if they were clear of allergens, clogging, irritating and synthetic substances.
- Use eyebrow serums. It’s the key thing in this ranking. Don’t forget that nutrients in food might be insufficient to repair or strengthen the brow hair. A daily application of brow serum is an easy way to nourish, moisturize and condition them. A good quality eyebrow serum might even protect them against damage and enhance growth so they grow fuller and prettier.
- Gently remove make-up to avoid damage. The choice of the right micellar water or face cleansing oil which doesn’t irritate the skin isn’t the only thing that matters. You must also remember to remove make-up in a gentle way, not rubbing the brow arches as it would end up with falling out or broken hairs.
- Don’t be afraid of eyebrow shaping. Eyebrow care isn’t only about nourishing. It also requires giving brows the best shape. When your eyebrows are getting fuller and bushier, you need to give them the correct shape. Use tweezers, wax or sugar paste. Brow threading is in too. Every method works if you are careful and never overpluck the brows (regrowing brows is challenging).
